Amit Shah to kickstart election campaign in West Bengal, Assam from today
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is starting his election campaign from today. Shah will go on a two-day tour to Assam and West Bengal.
Amit Shah is scheduled to address two public meetings in Margarita and Nazira in Assam today, after which he will leave for West Bengal.
Shah will address public meetings at Margarita at 12:30 pm and Nazira at 2 pm. He will do a roadshow at Kharagpur in Bengal this evening.
A statement issued by the BJP said that Shah will address public meetings in Jhargram and Ranibandha in Bengal today.
According to the BJP, Amit Shah and the party's national president JP Nadda will meet the families of 129 party workers in West Bengal during this period.
