Haryana govt presented a Rs 1.55 lakh crore budget for fiscal 2021-22. The state govt kept health, agriculture, and infrastructure as key priority areas.
The second budget, 13 % more than the previous year, was presented by CM Manohar Lal Khattar in the state assembly in Chandigarh.
Out of Rs 6,110 crore, Rs 2,998 cr has been earmarked for agriculture and farmers' welfare, Rs 489 cr for horticulture.
From the same, Rs 1,225 cr has been earmarked for animal husbandry, Rs 125 cr for fisheries, and Rs 1,274 crore for cooperation.
The budget outlay included 25 % as capital expenditure and Rs 38,718 cr and 75 % as revenue expenditure of Rs 1,16,927.
