Govt busy campaigning in West Bengal, will meet the govt there itself: Rakesh Tikait

  • Farmers have been agitating against the Centre's agriculture laws for more than 100 days. They have been demanding the withdrawal of the farm laws.
  • Meanwhile, several BJP leaders are busy campaigning in West Bengal for the assembly elections.
  • Taking a jibe, farmers leader Rakesh Tikait has said, "The govt is going to West Bengal nowadays, we will meet the government there itself."
  • Tikait said, "The government is busy in the outing and as soon as it will come to Delhi, the talks on farm laws will resume."
  • He said, "Today the govt has gone to Kolkata, we will also go to West Bengal on the 13th, there is a great Mahapanchayat in which we will meet the government."
