PM Modi all set to receive CERAWeek global energy and environment leadership award
- PM Modi will receive the CERAWeek Global Energy and Environment Leadership Award during an annual international energy conference next week.
- Daniel Yergin, said they are looking forward to award PM Modi for his commitment of expanding India's leadership in sustainable development to meet the country's,future energy needs.
- The PM will also deliver the keynote address at the Conference-2021, which will be held virtually from March 1 to 5, its organiser, IHS Markit, said on Friday.
- Speakers in conference include US presidential John Kerry, Co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates and president and CEO, Saudi Aramco, Amin Nasser.
- This international conference is a gathering of energy industry leaders, government officials, leaders from the technology, financial and industrial communities innovators.
