UP: College girl found 72 % burnt near National Highway, claims, 'they failed to rape me'

  • According to the police, the victim alleged that she was set up on fire after the men failed to gang-rape her.
  • SP S Anand said that the woman was tried to be raped in a field near Rai Kheda and when she refused, the men poured kerosene on her.
  • The girl is 72 % burnt and is undergoing surgeries. Police have been investigating the matter.
  • The residents of the village, where she was found lying, had covered her with a stole before calling the police.
