Amid hike in COVID 19 cases, Centre rushes high-level teams to 10 states

The COVID 19 cases, which have been increasing for the past few days, have become a matter of immense concern.
To curb COVID 19 infections, now the govt has rushed its high-level teams to the 10 states and Union Territories.
The 10 states include Maharashtra, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, MP, Gujarat, Punjab, Karnataka, TN, WB, and the Union Territory of J&K.
The Centre has asked the states to carry out a regular review of the Covid situation. The teams will work on investigating into reasons for the COVID 19 cases rise.
The Health Ministry has also written to 7 states and UTs over the surge in COVID 19 cases and proposed special measures.
