What about Republic Day's violence?: Delhi Police defends barricading at protest sites

The Delhi Police has made the security of multiple barricades and barbed wire fences on the Ghazipur border to stop the entry of farmers.
The Sanyukt Kisan Morcha has accused the govt of attacking the farmers by adapting such awful ways.
To this, Delhi Police Commissioner SN Shrivastava said that he was surprised as when tractors were used, police were attacked, barricades were broken, no questions were raised.
Shrivastava said that the police have just strengthened barricading so that it's not broken again.
Letting you know, the BKU leader Rakesh Tikait today said that the farmers' protest against the farm laws will not end before October.
