Delhi Police cleared protesters from their sit-in agitation site in Shaheen Bagh.
After more than 100 days, they started the agitation against the CAA amid a lockdown in the national capital over the coronavirus outbreak.
RP Meena, Dy commissioner of police Southeast Delhi said that the action was taken against violators as the assembly was unlawful.
“Protest site has been cleared. Some protesters have been detained,” said Meena.
Let us tell you, Delhi has been under lockdown since Monday.
