Delhi Police Takes Precautionary Measures In Delhi's Shaheen Bagh
- Delhi Police deployed a large number of its personnel as a precautionary measure in southeast Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh.
- The deployment came in the wake of a call by a right-wing group.
- The Hindu Sena called off its proposed protest against the anti-CAA agitation in Shaheen Bagh after police intervened on Saturday.
- "Our aim is to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incident from occurring,” said Joint Commissioner DC Srivastava.
- Let us tell you, Shaheen Bagh has been a protest venue for a section of people opposed to the CAA and NRC.
