Police Uses Water Cannons On Students To Stop the Protest

Several protesters, who were detained at the Civil Lines police station for gheraoing Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s residence were released on Wednesday morning.
The call to gherao the CM’s residence was given by Jamia Co-ordination Committee (JCC) and AAJMI.
"At around 3.30 am, water cannons were used to disperse the protesters", said the agitating students.
Earlier, the JCC said that water cannons were fired upon the protesting students.
JCC said that the students were also beaten up.
