Days after Kerala govt moved the Supreme Court against the CAA, the Congress on Friday alleged the CM was trying to implement the controversial act "secretly" in the state.
Though Vijayan was opposing the CAA in public, he and his govt were going ahead with the steps to implement the act, said (LOP) Ramesh Chennithala.
The remarks came just a few days after the Left government moved the Supreme Court against the Citizenship Amendment Act.
While opposing the CAA in public, the Chief Minister was trying to adopt a "good boy" image in front of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, he added.
Chennithala alleged that, Vijayan, who vehemently criticised the RSS and the Centre was showing reluctance to stop the procedures in connection with the NPR.
