Uddhav Thackeray Plans to Make Mumbai a World Class City

  • Chief minister Uddhav Thackeray has outlined a plan to make Mumbai a world-class city in a time-bound period.
     
  • Thackeray drew up a comprehensive plan to free the city of encroachments and illegal and unauthorized banners and hoardings.
     
  • He also plans to provide better roads, parking slots, gardens, and recreation centers and bring an end to waterlogging woes.

  • This high-level meeting was attended by several bureaucrats led by chief secretary Ajoy Mehta. 
     
  • Thackeray engaged in a dialogue with municipal commissioner Pravin Pardeshi, all four additional commissioners and deputy and assistant municipal commissioners.
