Why is #ResignAmitShah Trending on Twitter?

A violent protest in Jamia University and Aligarh Muslim University broke out on Sunday where the students were protesting over the amended citizenship act.
After these incidents, the hashtag of #ResignAmitShah has been trending on Twitter.
The reason being the barbaric actions taken by the Delhi police who cannot take action without the permission of the Home Ministry or a senior official.

Since the Delhi Police comes under Home Minister Amit Shah the law and order of the state is also the responsibility of MHA.
Let us tell you that on Sunday the protest between students and the police took an ugly turn when a DTC bus was set ablaze by the protestors.
