Full central share of Rs 171.10 Cr released for Nagaland Med College
Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey informed that the central govt has released the full central share of Rs 171.10 Crores towards the establishment of a medical college at Naga Hospital, Kohima in Nagaland.
The Union Minister replied to questions raised by the Lok Sabha MP from Nagaland, Tokheho Yepthomi during the ongoing winter session of Parliament on 22nd Nov.
Tokheho Yepthomi also questioned about the current status of the said college and the time by which it is likely to become functional.
The Union Minister informed that the Nagaland State Government has reported the progress of 16.50% on work towards the establishment of the college in the Ministry’s dashboard.
The total cost of the project is Rs.189 Crores, to be shared between the Centre and State Government in the ratio of 90:10, he added.
