Pramod Sawant incapable, make Michael Lobo home minister: Goa Forward Party
- Questioning the resolve of the Pramod Sawant-led state government to crack down on drug trafficking and rave parties Goa Forward Party (GFP) on Friday.
- The Party demanded that ports minister and Calangute MLA Michael Lobo be given charge of the home department.
- The department is presently held by the by the chief minister himself.
- GFP’s Siolim MLA Vinod Paliencar told reporters that rave parties and easy availability of narcotics had increased significantly along the coastal belt with the authorities doing little to rein in the trend.
- “The government is not serious and capable, or may be it is in the business of drug trafficking,” he said.
