‘BJP, TRS stirred public emotions to come to power’

CPI(M) senior leader Tammineni Veerabhadram has alleged that BJP came to power at the Centre and TRS in the State not on the basis of development but by playing with the emotions of people. Speaking to reporters here on Friday on the sidelines of the youth conclave held here on Friday, Mr. Veerabhadram said the BJP got votes in the name of religious extremism highlighting it as ‘nationalism’.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has promised to bring back black money from abroad and generate one crore jobs every year. Instead, about 1.8 crore jobs were lost. The agriculture sector has been facing serious problems and the government has failed to address it. It has been making efforts to privatise the railways,” he noted.
