Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Botcha Satyanarayana promised to extend the maximum help to tenant farmers in the State while protecting the interests of property owners. He was the chief guest for the Rythu Dinotsavam event conducted in connection with the birth anniversary of former Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.
The Minister garlanded the statue of YSR at Cheepurupalli and recalled his initiatives such as loan waiver and free power for agriculture. “On the lines of his father, Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has introduced the Rythu Bharosa programme. The farmers will get ₹12,500 under the scheme from October 2. It will certainly help farmers meet the agriculture investment needs,” said Mr.Satyanarayana.
