AP High Court seeks complete security details of Chandrababu Naidu

The Andhra Pradesh High Court, which took up the writ petition filed by former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on the reduction in the scale of security to him posted the matter the matter to July 9 after hearing the arguments of both the petitioner and the Advocate General (AG) on Tuesday. It may be recalled that the TDP national president filed the petition in the High Court demanding restoration of security to him as he was being provided when he was the Opposition leader before 2014.
Advocate for the petitioner Subba Rao presented to the court that there had been threat to the life of the former chief minister from various quarters, including the smugglers of red sanders against whom he had taken action. He also recalled that attempt on the life of Naidu at Alipiri. He expressed concern over scaling down of security to the family members of the former chief minister.
