Around 12 MLAs from Congress party met Telangana assembly speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and submitted a memorandum to merge Congress Legislative Party (CLP) with TRS legislative party (TRSLP).
The Congress leaders today met TRS working president KT Ramarao at Pragati Bhavan and sought consent to merge CLP with TRSLP. Sabitha Indra Reddy, Kandala Upender Reddy, Sudhir Reddy, Haripriya Naik, Chirumarthi Lingaiah submitted the memorandum with signatures of all the 12 leaders to the speaker.
