State on the threshold of a political revolution, says Kamal

Makkal Needhi Maiam president Kamal Haasan on Sunday said the State was on the threshold of a political revolution against the ‘corrupt’ AIADMK and the DMK.
Addressing an election rally at Chinnadharapuram in support of the MNM’s candidate for Aravakurichi, Mohanraj, Mr. Haasan said the AIADMK and the DMK had systematically looted public money while ruling the State alternatively for several years.
They failed to mitigate the suffering of the people. The two Dravidian parties will never come clean and won’t learn from their mistakes, Mr. Haasan said, observing that he was witnessing anger among the voters against the ruling dispensation.
The State was on the edge of a political revolution, and a push was the need of the hour, he said.
