The Telangana High Court will soon have first ever woman judge since its inception in 2014. Justice Ghandikota Sridevi will be taking charge as Telangana HC judge on or before May 16.
Sridevi, a native of Vizianagaram district in Andhra Pradesh is currently rendering services at Allahabad High Court. The centre on Thursday transferred her to Telangana High Court. The Supreme Court collegium acceded her request for transfer to Hyderabad and recommended the Central government.
