Arunachal Pradesh Guv BD Mishra sponsors 6-yr-old daughter of poor laborer in school

In a humanitarian gesture, Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (retd) BD Mishra on Tuesday admitted a six-year-old girl, daughter of a poor labourer, in a Government primary school here besides an fixed deposit of Rs 10,000 in her name.
“The Governor took Manisha Munda, a six-years-old girl, the daughter of a very poor widow labourer and admitted her in the Nursery Section of Government Primary School, ‘B’ Sector, Itanagar, securing for her free education including uniform, books and mid-day meal,” a Raj Bhavan release said.
In the year 2018, Mishra had also helped a pregnant lady who was in urgent need of medical attention, in his helicopter from Tawang to a hospital in Itanagar.
