The UT Administration will soon float tenders for the construction of a flyover at Tribune Chowk as Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has approved the project. The Standing Finance Committee of the ministry had approved the project last month.
Sources in the ministry said the approval for the project had been sent to the UT Administration with a direction to float a tender for the construction of the flyover soon. Sources said the Administration was planning invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi to lay the foundation stone of the project.
