An Indian Administrative Service officer, Rajkumar Thapa, lost his life in a tragic cross-border shelling incident in Rajouri, Jammu & Kashmir. Early Saturday morning, Pakistan initiated unprovoked firing along the border, resulting in the death of ADC Rajkumar Thapa and injuries to two staff members after a shell hit his house. The news was confirmed by J&K’s former Chief Ministers Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti, who expressed deep condolences and called it a grave loss for the administration.
