Haryana govt to give financial assistance to Covid orphans under Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana

  • The Haryana govt today announced financial and other assistance for children who have lost their parents due to Covid-19.
  • CM Manohar Lal Khattar shared information about the 'Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana'.
  • He said that this package will be given for the rehabilitation and assistance of children below 18 years who lost their parents, guardians due to Covid-19.
  • He said in an official statement that the state govt would give a monthly amount of Rs 2,500 per child as financial assistance to the families taking care of these orphans.
  • Khattar said that apart from this, an amount of Rs 12,000 would be deposited annually in the bank accounts of such children as other expenses till they reach the age of 18 and are getting an education.
