Delhi: Families of those who died due to lack of oxygen will get compensation, a committee formed
During the Corona epidemic, many people died in Delhi due to a lack of oxygen. In this regard, the Delhi govt has decided to give compensation to the families of the victims.
There is a provision of 50,000 to 5 lakh rupees for which a six-member committee has also been formed. However, there is also the question that how will death cases be confirmed due to lack of oxygen?
Most of the people have died outside the hospital, about which there is no information even on government documents.
The Special Secretary of the Health Department, SM Ali, has issued an order that a six-member committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Dr. Naresh Kumar of the Department of Medicine of Maulana Azad Medical College.
This committee will meet twice a week. The Committee will discuss the complaints received from the Nursing Home Cell of the Delhi Govt. During this time, there will be an inquiry about the documents etc. of oxygen supply in the hospital.
