Singapore Covid variant issue intensifies- Delhi Health Miniter reacts- 'Centre did the same 1 year ago'
The matter of tweet on 'Singapore Variant' of Covid-19 by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is going on from GoI to Singapore. Singapore has objected to this, so India has clarified it.
Meanwhile, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain, when asked questions about this, said that there is a different strain and this is confirmed and it needs to be emphasized that the strain is different.
On the Foreign Minister's stance of calling Kejriwal's statement as 'irresponsible', he said that 'the Centre had protested against our appeal to stop flights from Europe even a year ago'.
Letting you know, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had on Tuesday raised concerns about the new 'Singapore variant' of Coronavirus.
He said that this variant could come as a third wave in India. While Singapore High Commission has said that no new variants of the Corona have been confirmed there.
