Demand for work under the MGNREGA increased in the Corona period, but wages not being paid on time

The demand for work under the Rural Employment Guarantee Act MNREGA has been increasing following the 'lockdown' imposed in many states.
But the laborers are upset as they do not get their wages in time, some workers say that they will not be able to work in this condition now.
The Ministry of Rural Development said that 1.85 crore people have been given work under MGNREGA so far in May 2021 amid the epidemic.
This figure is 52 % higher as of May 2019. During that time, 1.22 crore people were given work.
Getting work is fine but non-payment of wages is wrong, this is the situation in many states including Jharkhand.
