3 BJP MLAs arrested in Siliguri for violating Covid 19 norms, TMC leader targets
Three BJP MLAs were today taken into custody by police in Siliguri, West Bengal. The three legislators have been accused of violating the lockdown rules.
In North Bengal, BJP MLAs Shankar Ghosh, Anandamay Burman, and Shikha Chattopadhyay were protesting against the state govt over the rising Corona infection and deaths from it.
They were first explained, but they were not ready to accept them, after which the police took the three MLAs into custody. However, after a while, all three MLAs were released.
However, the legislators said that they were following all the Covid protocols. On the BJP's performance, senior TMC leader Gautam accused the MLAs of betrayal of the people of the area.
Gautam said that during the pandemic, these MLAs are demonstrating instead of helping the people of their area, their real face should be seen by the people.
