A big shock for MNM chief Kamal Haasan- Two more leaders resign citing personal reasons
- Two more leaders of the Kamal Haasan-led Makkal Nidhi Mayim (MNM) in Tamil Nadu have resigned from the party.
- These include senior leader, Santosh Babu, and Secretary of State, Padma Priya citing personal reasons.
- Babu tweeted, "With a heavy heart I am informing you that I am resigning from my posts and membership of Makkal Nidhi Maim."
- He added, "My decision is due to personal reasons. I thank Kamal sir and our team for the love and friendship."
- A few days earlier, party vice-president, Dr. R Mahendra had resigned and accused him of lack of democracy in MNM.
