114 ventilators sent from PM Cares to the hospitals in UP, 39 used, 75 just blowing dust

  • While there is a severe shortage of ventilator in the terrible coronavirus Pandemic, the ventilators sent from PM Cares Fund to hospitals in UP are largely dusty.
  • They are getting torn up because medical staff was not recruited to operate them.
  • In the medical college of Firozabad, 75 ventilators were blowing dust for one year. 114 ventilators came from PM Cares Fund.
  • 39 of them were used, 75 had been lying for a year. After the news went viral in the media, they are now being sent for use.
  • CMS Alok Kumar Sharma of Firozabad Medical College said, "Under the guidelines of the government, 50 ventilator cancer hospitals have been sent to Lucknow."
