114 ventilators sent from PM Cares to the hospitals in UP, 39 used, 75 just blowing dust
While there is a severe shortage of ventilator in the terrible coronavirus Pandemic, the ventilators sent from PM Cares Fund to hospitals in UP are largely dusty.
They are getting torn up because medical staff was not recruited to operate them.
In the medical college of Firozabad, 75 ventilators were blowing dust for one year. 114 ventilators came from PM Cares Fund.
39 of them were used, 75 had been lying for a year. After the news went viral in the media, they are now being sent for use.
CMS Alok Kumar Sharma of Firozabad Medical College said, "Under the guidelines of the government, 50 ventilator cancer hospitals have been sent to Lucknow."
