Corona pandemic: Over 1k railway workers are getting infected every day, 1,952 lost their lives
Indian Railways is the largest employer not only in the country but all over the world, where more than 1.3 million employees work.
In such a situation, the railway is not untouched by the corona epidemic. Every day, about a thousand railway workers are getting infected with the corona.
At the same time, 1,952 employees have lost their lives. Railway Board Chairman Sunit Sharma said, "We are in the business of transport, we have to carry people and goods."
A few days ago, the Railway Union 'All India Railway Men's Federation' wrote a letter to Railway Minister Piyush Goyal.
It demanded a compensation of Rs 50 lakh on the lines of frontline workers for railway workers who lost their lives in the Corona era.
