Modi govt's hunger to win Bengal took India to the brink of destruction: Mamata Banerjee

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee today accused the Centre of taking the country to the brink of destruction from the COVID-19 crisis.
She said that the result of "doing no work" is because the Union ministers and leaders were reaching the state every day to "occupy" Bengal.
Mamata reiterated the allegation that the BJP is unable to accept the mandate and is inciting violence after the elections in Bengal are over.
She attacked the Election Commission (EC), alleging that if it had not helped the 'saffron party' directly, it would not have won even 30 seats in the recent assembly elections.
Mamata said this while speaking in the Legislative Assembly after Trinamool Congress MLA Biman Bandopadhyay was elected as the Speaker for the third time.
