Covid crisis: Kejriwal announces free ration for 72 lakh people in Delhi, Rs 5000 to auto taxi drivers
Amid the Covid crisis, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has announced that 72 lakh people in Delhi will be given 2 months of free ration.
In a digital press conference, he said that this does not mean that the lockdown will go on for the next 2 months.
Kejriwal stated that this is to help the financial crisis that the poor man is struggling with.
He said that the Delhi govt will give ₹ 5000 to the account of all the auto taxi drivers in Delhi.
He added that it will help them during this financial crisis. 1,56,000 such auto taxi drivers were helped last time, all such people will get help this time.
