Labour Rights Activist Nodeep Kaur's bail petition matter postponed to Feb 26
Labour rights activist Nodeep Kaur, who was arrested by the Haryana Police from the Singhu border, had filed a bail petition in which she stated that she was beaten up in the police station.
Though the hearing of her bail petition was held today, but the Punjab and Haryana High Court posted this matter for February 26.
Nodeep had also claimed that she was charged as an accused in a false FIR lodged under various sections, that included IPC Section 307.
Letting you know, the 23-year-old activist was arrested for demanding money from the company in Sonipat by allegedly gheraoing an industrial unit.
Kaur hails from Punjab’s Muktsar district and is currently lodged in Haryana's Karnal jail.
