After not being allowed to meet Unnao victim, Bhim Army chief stages sit-in protest

  • Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad (Ravan) was arrested on Monday by the UP police while going to meet the Unnao victim.
  • According to the sources, soon after that Azad staged a sit-in protest along with his supporters.
  • Reacting to this, Kanpur Range IG said that to avoid the over-crowding in the hospital, they were not allowed to meet the Unnao victim.
  • Adding to it, the IG said that the mass gathering may lead to the spread of infectious diseases.
  • Letting you know, Chandrashekhar Azad had earlier warned that if the govt didn't shift the victim to Delhi for treatment, then he would go to Unnao.
