Chandrashekhar Azad arrested, protesters demand immediate release

  • Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad was on his way to the Regency hospital to meet the Unnao victim.
  • Meanwhile, he was apprehended by the Uttar Pradesh police in Kanpur today.
  • Soon after that, Azad's supporters created a ruckus and staged a protest, demanding his immediate release.
  • Letting you know, Chandrashekhar Azad had earlier warned that if the govt didn't shift the victim to Delhi for treatment, then he would go to Unnao.
  • He had also met the family members of both the girls who died after being poisoned on February 17.
