Puducherry: Congress fails floor test, loses power, V. Naraynasamy resigns, later blames BJP

  • Narayanasamy has accused former Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi and BJP of toppling the govt. He said that the party MLAs have been bought based on money.
  • He added, "We formed a government with DMK and Independent MLAs, won many elections, this shows that people's trust is built on us."
  • Letting you know, there are 33 members in the Puducherry Assembly. After the resignation of several MLAs, this number was reduced to 24, but Congress could not prove a majority.
