Farmers' Protest: Rakesh Tikait calls for tractor revolution, says, next target is 40 lakh

  • Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait called on farmers to join the tractor revolution to protest against the Centre's farm laws on the Delhi borders.
  • Tikait, on the Ghazipur border, talked to the farming community, who are angry about NGT's ban on diesel vehicles, including tractors that are 10 years old.
  • He said that now the tractors which used to run in the farms will run at the NGT's office in Delhi.
  • Tikait said that lately, 20,000 tractors were in Delhi and the next target is taking that number to 40 lakh.
  • He further called on tractor owners to attach their vehicles with the tractor revolution.
