The Day When World's Biggest Democracy Adopts World's Longest Written Constitution

71 years ago, on today, the newly independent India had adopted the world's longest handwritten constitution.
Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar was the president of the committee who prepared the draft of the constitution.
The world's longest handwritten constitution was written in two languages: Hindi and English and Indian constitution is a mix of constitutions of countries around the globe.
The major part of the constitution had been adopted from the British Model of Parliamentary Democracy and Government of India Act 1935.
While aspects like fundamental rights, preamble are from the USA, fundamental duties are adopted from USSR, DPSP is from Ireland.
