A question on Manusmriti in KBC drew criticism by Vivek Agnihotri. Later on FIR was filed against the makers of KBC and Amitabh Bachchan for hurting religious sentiments. The question was asked in the Karamveer episode of KBC on 30th October 2020. On 25 December, 1927, BR Ambedkar and his followers burnt the copies of which scripture? The answer was Manusmriti, rightly given by Bezwada Wilson. But this hurted the feelings of Vivek Agnihotri. However, its a historic fact that during Mahad Satyagrah in 1927, Babasaheb Ambedkar and his followers burnt the copies of Manusmriti.
