Haryana To Give 50 % Seats For Women In Panchayats, Says Dushyant Chautala

BJP-JJP govt in Haryana is considering reserving 50 % seats for women in Panchayati raj institutions.
Dy CM Dushyant Chautala said, "A two-wheeler will also be given to women members, including sarpanches and panches, who have done commendable work in villages."
He further added, "The empowerment of women means the empowerment of the entire society. This will definitely be a step in the right direction."
He said, "The state govt has been taking adequate steps for ensuring the maximum participation of women in society."
Chautala also talked about reservation issue and said, "MLAs of both parties have brainstormed on this issue and a final decision will be taken soon."
