Baghjan Oil Field Fire: PM Modi Assures Assam CM of All Possible Help

Assam CM Sarbanand Sonowal spoke PM Modi and informed him about the Baghjan oil field fire in the Tinsukia district.
Sonowal said, "The fire is now confined in the particular area and it has come down to a radius of 50 meters."
"The experts view that they need another 25-28 days to control the situation. I hope the situation will come under control with the support of the center," he added.
Sonowal also informed PM about the emergency steps taken by Petroleum ministry, Oil India Limited, and the state machinery to control the situation.
PM Modi also assured CM Sonowal of all possible help to resolve the situation and provide relief to the victims.
