Bihar govt Announces Rs 5 lakh compensation on death due to snake bite

The NDA govt of the state will now give compensation of Rs 5 lakh to the family of the victim who died due to snakebite in Bihar.
On Tuesday, Deputy CM Sushil Modi announced this in the Assembly, he said that this financial assistance will be given by the Forest Department.
After death from a snake bite, for compensation, an application will be made to the nearest district office along with the postmortem report, FIR and other documents.
Let us tell you that the disaster management department gives compensation on death flood, but on other days the forest department will give this amount.
In response to Sanjay Saraogi's short question, Sushil Modi said that tigers, lions, cheetahs, and elephants along with snakes also come under wildlife.
