Biswabhusan Harichandan sworn-in as first full-time Governor of Andhra Pradesh

eteran leader Biswabhusan Harichandan was sworn-in as the Governor of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday at a colourful event organised at the newly refurbished Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad.
Andhra Pradesh High Court Chief Justice Praveen Kumar administered the oath of office to Biswabhusan Harichandan at the tastefully decked up Raj Bhavan.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, his cabinet colleagues, MLAs, officials and other dignitaries attended the event.
Immediately after swearing-in, the members joined the first citizen for high tea where the guests were introduced to the new governor. Later, the Cabinet posed for the mandatory group photo.
Biswabhusan Harichandan is the first governor of the state to assume office in the capital city after the bifurcation.
He comes with a rich experience in public life and is a renowned writer, lawyer, scholar and was instrumental and inspirational in drafting the rehabilitation and resettlement (RR) policy of the government.
