As an unexpected move to the tea producers, West Bengal state Government has withdrawn subsidy on fertilizers on tea, developing large scale resentment among the green beverage growers in the state. Planters apprehend the withdrawal to add an extra load of Rs 200 crore in their total annual production cost.
