Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary on Friday slammed the government over failing to keep a check on the prices of essential commodities in Kashmir during the ongoing month of Ramadan.
In a statement issued to KNS, Kadfeen said that the complaints are pouring in from all corners about the sky rocketing prices of essential commodities in the markets and how people are fleeced under the very noose of the government and those at the helm are acting as mute spectators.
Kadfeen said that the black marketing of the essential commodities is touching heights and people are made to suffer ruthlessly amid the present state of lawlessness.
He maintained further that by failing to crack a whip against those who are found involved in black marketing in open, the government seems to have given an underhand approval to such a practice.
