Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma inspects entry, exit point of Mendipathar railway station

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma accompanied by Sports and Agriculture Minister Bantiedor Lyngdoh on Wednesday inspected the site for setting up of entry and exit point-cum-facilitation centre at the Mendipathar railway station in North Garo Hills, Meghalaya.
Officials from the Transport, Tourism departments and the district administration were also present during the inspection.
“The process of taking over the land and setting up of facilitation centre has already started. Necessary instruction has been issued to PWD Building for the construction. The construction will be completed within six months,” said the Chief Minister.
Bantiedor Lyngdoh said, “It is the commitment of the MDA government to the people and through the leadership of Chief Minister, the government will ensure the completion of the entry and exit points for the overall interest of the State.”
