Congress cheated Prakash Ambedkar, claims BJP state president Raosaheb Danve
Taking Congress on its policy for Dalit, Bharatiya Janata Party’s state president Raosaheb Danve claimed Congress has cheated Prakash Ambedkar for not including his Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi in Congress led maha-agahdi in the state.
Davne, while giving a special interview to Sukrut Khandekar, editor of Marathi daily Navshakti, a sister publication of the Free Press Journal, at Jalna, alleged that Congress had defeated Prakash Ambedkar three times and this proves, how Congress behaves with Dalits.
Danve was admitted to an hospital in Aurangabad for throat infection. However, party workers were seen visiting him in hospital to sought his advise as the Lok Sabha polls is going on. Danve is the sitting Member of Parliament from Jalna and fielding again from the same seat.
Smita Wagh, BJP’s member of legislative council too met Danve in the hospital to inform him on how the party did injustice to her. Wagh had been announced as party candidate for Jalgaon LS seat, however, later replaced by Unmesh Patil, sitting legislator from Chalisgaon, without giving intimation to Wagh. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis too visited the hospital and enquired about Danve’s health.
