Congress senior leader and former PCC president V Hanumantha Rao was arrested by the police on Sunday for protesting against the removal of Ambedkar statue from Punjagutta crossroads.
Terming it as an unfortunate incident, Rao said that he will continue his protest until the government installs the statue at Khairatabad instead of Punjagutta circle. He was arrested along with his protestors and sent to Amberpet police station.
